I have a '76 Evinrude 70 hp. What should oil/gas ratio be?(50:1 ?)? - 76 evinrude 4hp

50:1 is correct. I want to get the stability of the fuel. This engine is very strong, I think you'll like.

50:1 (3 ounce of oil for every liter of gasoline) to use "Carbon Guard" fuel additive, fuel is pathetic, and now the engine is the longest (in piston rings cake is carbon, which eventually come). Guard carbon is cheap and very concentrated, so a little goes a long way (1) oz treats 8 liters of gasoline. I started when a friend 0n poured the fuel in your outboard 20 years old, I asked if he was really done anything for the engine, a candle and showed me Squeeky Clean, I swear to the things and this is outboard 20 years old, I hope this helps
