Has my cat got -Feline Epilepsy? - feline epilepsy

Tetley My cat has epilepsy, and there are still attacks. She sits down on the side and kick his front paws, his students was also funny, urinated on and ran around. And when he finally got up, he was hungry for food. We took him to the vets and took a blood sample from him. Do you think it will be ok? Is there a cure?

All answers appreciated.

Sorry, but no cure for epilepsy. the vet should be able to stabilize the medication is to continue to stay calm once or twice per day, depending on the severity of fits.when with a crisis, turn on your TV and lights, and the wait . They come to you do not understand what has happened. which is more annoying for you, that is for them.
jue7rc and yes, there are drugs to treat epilepsy, and you're a volentes animal welfare?

I hope it goes well. There are drugs for them and in some cases, an item might be necessary, but depends on the cause and how serious it is, how successful are these things.

We hope that your kittys Can.

Everything depends on seeing what is waiting behind the attacks, so please to see what the test showed.

Are they know for sure if your cat has epilepsy? What am I supposed to see the vet? If you suffer from epilepsy should be carefully monitored to see what is already happening. Sometimes, such as fluorescent or a TV screen is flickering. Find out whether in fact triggered by something, and you will be able to avoid that, in a position where he could have a stroke.

If it is not caused by something special, then you should discuss with your veterinarian, because I'm not sure if there are drugs to treat epilepsy.

Edit - Melanie. Within 3 years I am in my center of wellness, we have cases of epilepsy cats, I can not comment on existing medicines. I suspect they are in the United States, and of course, knows everything. So you do not stabilize the "medicine is to stabilize the condition and the correct spelling is" on a voluntary basis. "Do not look at things !!!!!
